Piper Shores Welcomes Five New Members to Join Board of Directors

Five newly elected members have joined the Piper Shores 15-member volunteer Board of Directors (BOD) in 2022.

“The Board of Trustees of Piper Shores is delighted to welcome these extraordinary new board members to our roster, each of whom has an extensive amount of knowledge pertaining to issues related to finance, investments, law, philanthropy, and physical and mental health to support elder Mainers living at Piper Shores,” said Malcolm Rogers, Chair of the Board. “With these additions to our team, we have a renewed focus on long-term success of Piper Shores and are grateful for these individuals’ willingness to volunteer and lead.”

The new board members include: Dr. Dawn Harmon, Assistant Vice President and Legal Counsel in Unum’s Employment Law Group; Michael P. Wood, CFA and the Vice President and Portfolio Manager at R.M. Davis; Kim Donnelly, Executive Vice President and Director of Wealth and Business Services at Gorham Savings Bank; Adrian Kurre, a retired hospitality executive and brings over 40 years of experience in restaurant and hotel operations, development, and franchise support to Piper Shores; and Dr. Stephen Brooks, a retired high-level pharmaceutical executive who brings over 30 years of experience in Analytical Research and Development, Quality, and Manufacturing operations to Piper Shores.

These new directors join returning Board Chair and MD, Malcolm Rogers, and returning directors Karen Hart, MS, CPA, and Treasurer, Nancy Magee, Secretary, Richard A. Blake, Dr. Frank Chessa, Ph.D., Marilyn R. Gugliucci, MA, Ph.D., Quincy Hentzel, Raymond “Chip” Kelley, Jonathan Roderick, and Isabella Stumpf, DO, to lead Piper Shores nonprofit retirement community in the year ahead.
