Just down the coast road from one of America’s most historic lighthouses, Portland Head Light, Piper Shores boasts a stunning location set on 138 acres with 800 feet of ocean frontage. Situated between Higgins Beach and historic Prouts Neck, Piper Shores is close to the former studio of renowned artist Winslow Homer.
Close and accessible from major highways, Portland International Jetport and the new Amtrak Downeaster, Piper Shores is less than 15 minutes from the heart of downtown Portland; a half hour from Kennebunk and less than two hours from Boston’s Newbury Street.

From the South and Northern Maine Via Maine Turnpike:
Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 42, Scarborough. Follow the off-ramp through the first light onto Haigis Parkway. Follow Haigis Parkway for 1.2 miles to US-1. Turn left onto US-1 and drive for 1.3 miles. Turn right onto Black Point Road (Route 207, between Amato’s and Citgo, across from Walgreen’s). Drive for 2.8 miles on Black Point Road. Turn left onto Spurwink Road (Route 77). Drive for .7 miles. Turn right onto Piper Road at our sign.
